The Sony Xperia Z line is out. That rumor of an Xperia Z6 is no longer valid but the flagship series has been replaced by the Xperia X phones. There are three phones unveiled by Sony: the Xperia X, Xperia X Performance, and the Xperia XA. The titles are easier to remember now compared to the previous years when Sony would only add the words Compact, Premium, or Ultra to the Z name.
Fast or quick charging may not be the standard yet in most smartphones but it’s slowly getting there. The likes of Qualcomm and OPPO have been working to advance the technology with their Quick Charge and Super VOOC Flash Charge. Sony doesn’t have its own fast charging tech but most of its mobile devices support Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0.
In line with the new Xperia X and as a response to the demand for fast charging devices, Sony has introduced a new Quick Charger UCH12 that delivers a 5.5-hour battery after only ten minutes of charging. That’s fast today because you can do a lot of stuff on your mobile in less than six hours.
Qualcomm’s Quick Charge technology definitely improves productivity to any gadget. This Quick Charger UCH12 now supports Quick Charge 3.0 and takes advantage of PumpExpress+ by Mediatek. Charger has been tested by Sony and has passed Xperia quality standards, allowing super-fast and safe charging all the time.
