We have seen plenty of Sony Honami leaks, however as of today it looks like another has arrived. This latest however is showing the handset in yet another color. As you can likely see from the images included in this post -- it appears as if the Sony Honami will also be available in white.
The pics come by way of the Chinese language Digi.wo site and include views of the front and back as well as the top and side. There is even one with the handset sitting side-by-side with the iPhone 5. We suspect many would have preferred that iPhone to have been an Android handset, but this does at least give us an idea of the size of the Honami.
Other items revealed in these images include the 3.5mm headphone jack on top, what appears to be the dedicated camera button on the right-hand side and the magnetic docking pins on the left-hand side. As with many of the earlier Honami rumors, this one also brings some discussion of the camera. An image clearly shows the back with the camera lens, flash and markings detailing it as 20.7 megapixels with a 1/2.3 sensor.
We also got another brief look at the camera setup. Basically, this brings further confirmation on the resolution. The image details a breakdown of the following; 20MP (4:3) at 5248 x 3936, 8MP (4:3) at 3264 x 2448, 8MP (16:9) at 3840 x 2160, 3MP (4:3) at 2048 x 1536 and 2MP (16:9) at 1920 x 1080. Some of the earlier leaks and benchmarks have pointed towards a Snapdragon 800 processor and a display resolution of 1920 x 1080.
The handset has also been rumored to feature a 3000 mAh battery, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. And in addition to this leak showing the handset in white, an earlier leak had shown the handset in purple. With that, we are expecting Sony to officially unveil the Homani during IFA in early-September.
