This full 1080p HD tablet rocks a quad-core and Ice Cream Sandwich. Oh and has a keyboard dock like the Transformer series too.

Huawei delivers new MediaPad 10 promotional video ahead of launch

We're no strangers to promotional videos for feature-rich tablets, but this new video for Huawei's MediaPad 10 FHD tablet might just take the cake. Not only is the MediaPad 10 itself something to get excited about, but there's just something about its new promotional video that leaves us feeling at peace. Perhaps it's the soothing background music or the serene images of flower petals floating in the wind. Then again, it may be that 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 IPS LCD display. Whatever it is, it's totally working.

Huawei's first quality Android tablet was their MediaPad, also known as the T-Mobile Springboard here stateside. While it was the first 7-inch tablet to come with Android 3.2 Honeycomb, it wasn't the first to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich although they've beat most to the upgrade. Huawei MediaPad 10FHD hands-on

Rumblings of a 10-inch version of Huawei's surprisingly solid MediaPad have been going on for quite some time, but at Mobile World Congress 2012, it's official. The MediaPad 10FHD is only the company's second tablet (not counting derivatives like the T-Mobile Springboard) but already it's looking pretty impressive. The 10.1-inch slate runs Android 4.0 along with Huawei's other new hardware, and it uses their custom-made quad core system architecture. Perhaps most impressively, it's skipped right past the 720p standard and uses a full 1920x1200 10.1-inch LCD screen.

Huawei MediaPad 10 leaked, set for February 26th presentation

Chinese OEM Huawei has big plans for Mobile World Congress, as we've seen in leaks of renders for their new Ascend D1 Q smartphone. Now the other rumored MWC launch, the 10-inch version of their MediaPad tablet, has seen the light of day as well. In a series of photos from Russian site Hi-Tech Mail, you can see fleeting glances of the 10-inch tablet and its slinky metal frame. There's little concrete information on the hardware itself, but like Huawei's other recent machines it'll be thin and run Ice Cream Sandwich.

Huawei to announce quad-core Ascend D1 Q and 10-inch MediaPad at MWC

We know Huawei's got big plans for Mobile World Congress, specifically its brand new "Diamond" line of devices. According to a Webo post spotted by Blog of Mobile, the first phone to get this distinction will e the Huawei Ascend D1 Q. That rather extended product name probably includes "D1" for the first Diamond phone and (wait for it) "Q" for quad-core. If Huawei intends to break out of its bargain OEM shell at MWC, that could be a very expedient way of doing so.

Huawei announced today that their 7" Android 3.2 Honeycomb MediaPad tablet is headed for AT&T complete with 4G speeds. Apparently it will be available starting tomorrow for AT&T customers for a friendly price.
