Nothing much to say here but that pink Sony Xperia Z5 rumored to launch in Taiwan is almost ready. Apparently, that pink smartphone is not a Z5 but rather a new one (still unconfirmed). We’re not sure what model is this exactly but it appears to be similar to any Xperia C handsets we’ve seen in the past. Not that there’s anything really different because most Xperia models appear the same but this one looks a lot like the Xperia C5 Ultra.
We have yet to hear about Sony’s full plans for mobiles but we can expect a few models to be unveiled. There’s the Xperia Z6 that is believed to arrive in five variants versus compared to the three Z5 models released last year. Two of the five handsets are believed to come with 3D touch.
The phone pictured here could be a Rose Gold Xperia C5 Ultra but there’s still a chance this is really the pink Xperia Z5 we mentioned last week. Rose gold is somewhat close to pink but a slightly different shade or tone. It could be one or the same or maybe actually two different handsets.
A rose gold or pink Xperia Z5 or Xperia C5 Ultra–either of the two are welcome. One of the colors of the year is rose quartz so we’re assuming OEMs like Sony would like to take advantage since most people, the ladies especially, would demand for such pretty color. It’s either that or the fact that the Rose Gold iPhone is quite attractive. Since its launch, rose gold versions of several phones were also introduced including the Verizon Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Note 5 in Taiwan, BLU Vivo XL, ZTE Blade S7, and the HTC One ME among others.
We hope to finally hear a confirmation or formal announcement from Sony at the upcoming Mobile World Congress.
