Over at the CES 2016 in Las Vegas, BLU Products announced a pair of new mobile devices under the BLU Vivo line. The new smartphones–the Vivo 5 and Vivo XL– are expected to become the latest bestsellers in the unlocked phone category. The two are powerful yet still affordable, giving more people a chance to own a smartphone with premium specs without having to break the bank.

BLU Products boasts of the Vivo 5 and Vivo XL powered by a MediaTek 4G LTE MT6753 Tru Octa-Core 64 Bit processor and featuring a 5.5-inch SUPER AMOLED display, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 13MP main camera with f2.0 Aperture, 5MP front-facing wide-angle camera, and 3,150mAh battery. All the specs mentioned are found on each Vivo handset that also features a full metal body design–a first for the company.

The main difference between the two is the size with the BLU Vivo 5 measuring 6.9mm thin while the Vivo XL is slightly thicker at 7.5mm. Actually, you might not see and feel the difference because they’re almost the same. Both models even feature Fast Charging, USB Type-C 2.0 Port, and Hi-Fi DTS Sound. Main differences between the two are in memory options, materials, and the design according to BLU Products.

The BLU Vivo 5 features a microSD card slot, 3GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage, 4G/LTE, Dual SIM support, and VoLTE capability. It will work on any GSM network operator and will be offered by Bestbuy and Amazon sometime in February for only $199. Color options include Solid Gold and White Silver only.

As for the BLU Vivo XL, the smartphone looks stylish and premium with its unique, mirror like finish that is said to be inspired by liquid metal. It only features 16GB built-in memory and 2GB RAM but there’s still a microSD card slot for memory expansion. Color options include Rose Gold, Midnight Blue, Chrome silver, and Liquid Gold. This one is more affordable at only $149. Available starting this January also on most GSM networks, BestBuy, and Amazon.
