There are too many ZTE Nubia smartphones in the market already but more are still in the works. Aside from the Nubia Z9 Max Elite recently sighted on TENAA and the Nubia X8, we can add the Nubia Z11 to the list of new smartphones to be anticipated from the Chinese OEM. A new model was leaked in the form of image renders, giving us an idea that the smartphone will come with a curved screen and an impressive bezel-less design.
This rumored ZTE Nubia Z11 looks different from the X8 and Z9 Max Elite because the rear camera at the back is placed at the center while the first two were pictured to have their respective cameras at the upper left. That round button below the cam seems to be a fingerprint scanner. As for the curved screen mentioned, we’re not sure just by looking at the images but the side view profile shows us a bezel-less screen.
That doesn’t look curved but the screen extends to the side. It’s something like the Galaxy S6 edge but the render of the phone shows a flatter screen– straight not really curved. Rumor has it that the smartphone will use arc Refractive Conduction (aRC) technology to hide the edge of the display.
This ZTE Nubia Z11 will take advantage of ZTE’s FiT–patented Frame interactive Technology–for more advanced gestures. We’re guessing this new model will basically have the same features of the Nubia Z9 but more advanced and possibly faster. As for the specs, here’s what we know so far: 5.2-inch screen, QHD resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 128GB built-in storage, 4GB RAM, 13MP front-facing cam, 20.7 MP rear camera, and a fingerprint reader.
We’re not doubting a new Nubia smartphone will be announced. We’re just curious when this might be released because the SD820 is not due until next year. It’s the same chipset that will be used on the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge so we can assume the ZTE Nubia Z11 will also be another powerhouse as others are already describing it.
