The latest highly-anticipated Android phone is the Samsung Galaxy S6. So far, we’ve heard of rumors that it will come with a curved display. Now we’re hearing reports that Samsung will release two new models of the Galaxy S6 similar to the Galaxy Note 4. This is a new thing from the South Korean giant releasing the flagship phone in to two different flavors. We’re expecting the Galaxy S6 to be unveiled officially at the Mobile World Congress this coming March.

The first Samsung Galaxy S6 model is believed to have an all-metal casing. No word if it will be unibody though. The second Galaxy S6 will feature a curved display on both sides, something we’ve been speculating on for months now. This will be more similar to the Galaxy Note Edge and perhaps something like LG’s Active Bending Dual Edge display.

Other new things to expect from Samsung include a new smartwatch with a round screen. It could be something like the Moto 360 which has been receiving good reviews because of the design. Samsung could be going that direction as well.

The new round smartwatch model and two Galaxy S6 variants, Samsung is set to make noises at the MWC. We don’t know if the new Galaxy flagship phone will run Android Lollipop out of the box but I don’t see any reason why not. And as for the smartwatch, Samsung could use Tizen. We’re not 100% sure about the information but we can expect a lot of great things from the company.

This year could be hard for Samsung. Last holiday quarter’s products were not as good because of competition. Profits were down by 37 percent but Samsung could still gain all the loss if the two Samsung Galaxy S6 models will offer something new. Even if there’s a lot of competition, Samsung still has an edge over other phone manufacturers like Xiaomi. You see, the likes of Xiaomi, are selling really fast because they produce good Android phones that are very affordable. Perhaps some people are thinking it’s no longer worth it to pay for an exensive high-end Samsung phone when you can make do with a low- to mid-range smartphone.
