HTC is still alive and well and the company is already gearing up for the launch of the new HTC 10. The past few days, we’ve been seeing teasers from HTC. It seems that the marketing team is going all out once again, trying to excite the mobile industry. We still don’t know if it will be the HTC One M10 or just HTC 10 but we know it will have a world class camera and will show what the #Powerof10 is all about by April 12.

HTC’s new flagship phone is set to rival the newest phones from the biggest brands like Samsung and LG. Before the official launch which is happening about three weeks from now, HTC is expected to release more teasers while other sources may give more leaked information and images.

Based on several information we’ve heard from different sources the past few weeks, the HTC 10 will be equipped with a 5.1-inch QHD AMOLED touchscreen display, 4GB RAM, microSD card slot, 32GB built-in storage, 12 megapixel main camera, 5MP front-facing cam, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, Quick Charge 3.0, USB Type-C port, and BoomSound Dobly front-facing speakers.

BoomSound tecnology has been available in past HTC phones but it might be used on the HTC 10 differently. We’re guessing HTC will bring it to the front as speculated or just make the speakers able to play louder sounds. HTC shared via Twitter a new teaser with a caption “Here comes the new boom. You’ll hear it.”

So it’s a new BoomSound technology then? Maybe. The image shows an interesting design of what we’re assuming is the speaker grille with a new design. It could also be an additional speaker for a more fuller sound listening experience. We’ll see.

  1. I’m actually getting excited about this phone! They seem to be ticking most of the check boxes. AMOLED Screen, micro SD, ROM, etc.
If it’s carrier unlocked with all cellular bands, like Nexus 6p, not just an international unlocked device, then maybe…
