There’s no stopping the Un-Carrier from bearing great news. This summer, the network is offering probably their biggest deal yet for 2016. If you’ve been itching to get a new Galaxy phone, now is the perfect time as T-Mobile is giving a new unit for every customer who avails of a 6GB or 10GB Simple Choice plan. It’s not just for one person but for every member of a family of 12. Yup, you read that right: twelve free smartphones for everyone.

T-Mobile’s Epic Summer Deal includes a $30 monthly fee per line (maximum of four) of up to 6GB of LTE data. That’s also per line which means the group deal will get as much as 24GB. The free phone is a Samsung Galaxy On5 which is being sold by T-Mobile since June. The Galaxy On series is known for being a budget line so it’s really easy for T-Mobile to offer the deal.

If you want an additional line to your Simple Choice, just pay $20 on top of your bill for every line that you get. If you need more data of up to 10GB, you can pay an extra $40 for each line (up to four only) while the rest can add only $30 each.

The new Samsung Galaxy J7 can also be availed for free per line instead of the Galaxy On5 if you want a more powerful smartphone. Aside from the usual features of the Un-Carrier, you can also enjoy Binge On and Music Freedom without having to touch your high-speed data.

As expected, T-Mobile CEO John Legere is proud of this summer deal. He said:

“This is our best deal ever – a free Samsung Galaxy smartphone on us! And this is a lifeline for the carriers’ long-abused customers, who have got to be sick of the rate hikes, the restrictions and the carrier BS. We’ve found a better way to do wireless at the Un-carrier. That’s why T-Mobile customers are the most satisfied wireless customers in America!”

T-Mobile is really serious with bringing the best deals for everyone in the US. With T-Mobile, there is total freedom in your mobile usage. Freedom in a sense that you don’t have to worry about possible overcharges and bill shock. This summer back-to-school deal is now available but only for a limited time.

  1. “Yup, you read that right: twelve free smartphones for everyone.” — I don’t think this statement means what you think it means… Fairly certain Tmo is not giving every single person twelve free smartphones.

  2. This certainly isn’t the best deal of the year. Just a few months back you could get 10 GB on four lines for 120$ and for thirty bucks more, each line could get unlimited.

  3. The deal has a minimum of 4 lines, not a maximum, costing $120 for 4 lines as a starting price. The price per line for additional lines is lower.

Also, the phone is a low specced Galaxy On5, not what most people expect when they hear they’re getting a Galaxy. The 1.5GB RAM and 8GB of storage are low enough to cause problems on a bloatware handset, even with a microSD card, and the device would rank considerably below a 3-year-old Galaxy S4.
