Lara Croft will always be a childhood heroine. No, I’m not talking about Angelina Jolie but the classic Lara Croft we first came to know almost two decades ago. Through the years, we’ve seen this character by Square Enix evolve through the years and now, she starts in a new mobile game: Lara Croft GO.

Square Enix Montréal has just introduced this all-new game for mobile devices after the success of Hitman GO. The company has partnered with Crystal Dynamics to bring the ultimate female adventurer and bring the gamer in you the ‘Essence of Adventure’.

Lara Croft GO is another turn-based puzzle game that brings you into a new adventure. You are sent into a long-forgotten world and you are called to face numerous and deadly challenges as you explore the ruins of ancient civilization, uncover hidden secrets, and discover the myth of the Queen of Venom. As usual, this Lara Croft GO game promises a very challenging gameplay coupled with an amazing soundtrack and stunning visuals.

Square Enix has also announced that KINGDOM HEARTS Unchained χ will be coming to mobile devices. Android and iOS will soon receive this first game in the Kingdom Hearts series in North America. Get to know more about some story elements from the past.

You can make your own Keyblade wielder and adventure through Disney worlds and meet numerous Disney characters. You are free to customize your character, collect, fuse, and evolve items as you plan an attack. All you need to do is fight all those giant Heartless bosses. If you’re familiar with the series, you’d notice that this is most personalized version yet.

KINGDOM HEARTS Unchained χ

Aside from Lara Croft GO and KINGDOM HEARTS Unchained χ (“key”), Square Enix has also proudly announced the English version of the Final Fantasy Portal. It’s a special app that lets you read Final Fantasy news and access Final Fantasy games. App has yet to be released on the Google Play store this summer. It’s going to be free but with in-app purchases. Expect Final Fantasy VIII’s Triple Triad card game to debut through the said app as well.

The Final Fantasy Portal app provides a comprehensive source for all things FINAL FANTASY from games to events, to music, and merchandise. It also features a special point system where you can get points simply by logging in everyday and viewing videos and news.
