You’re looking at what may well be the very last leak before the Galaxy Nexus announcement later this evening. Then again, maybe not. This placeholder search result has appeared on Samsung’s website, giving us a special preview of the last two sides of the phone that we haven’t seen yet, the left edge and the back. Hold your applause.
There isn’t much left of the Galaxy Nexus to leak, but we can confirm that the left side is blank save for a volume rocker. The back looks a lot like the phone’s Galaxy S II cousins, and appears to be entirely plastic. Now that we can see the phone in profile, it doesn’t look quite as thin or as curved as Samsung’s original teaser video might imply. The curve factor is subtle, just about the same as the Galaxy S-based Nexus S. Earlier today Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo threw Android fans a bone and basically confirmed the specifications and dimensions for the new phone – check them out here.
There’s only about three hours left until Google finally unveils the Galaxy Nexus, not to mention Android 4.0 “Ice Cream Sandwich,” at the event in Hong Kong. We’ll be there live covering all the news, so keep an eye on Android Community for all the juicy details as they happen. You can also follow our Twitter account, @Androids, for live updates.

Verizon……… that sucks was wishing GSM
It will be but probably a few weeks or a month after launch.
Cant wait been without a smartphone for 3months , y they would come out with a Nexus line phone exclusive to Verizon is questionable, if your trying to dent the iPhone 4s witch launched in many countries let alone carriers ( hope this is not another great phone stunted by poor marketing)
At launch, everyone who gose to the site regularly has seen that article
