MWC 2015 is happening next week which means there will be another surge of leaks, rumors, and early announcements from gadget manufacturers leading to opening day. One of the highly anticipated phones is the Galaxy S6, Samsung’s next Android flagship smartphone. So far, we know that there might be two variants: one regular and one with a curved display similar to the Galaxy Note Edge. Phone might also have a reduced TouchWiz and with production starting this February in time for the March announcement.
More details about the upcoming Samsung flagship have been leaked including a rumored glass back, no replaceable battery, and that it won’t be waterproof. We’ve also heard of a confirmation of the Galaxy S6 Edge by Vodafone Netherlands. The phone was also spotted in India complete with a more robust form. And who could forget that metal shell sighting and the sketch showing the phone’s dimensions.
Earlier this month too, Samsung might have confirmed the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge with support pages. We have a clue that it will be another great phone because it was spied breaking records on AnTuTu. And only a few days ago, we learned the phone could include wireless charging as Samsung starts to integrate the technology with products and services.
This week, we’re showing you some more leaked photos from Samsung Norway. Several rumors have come out too: we might see forward-facing stereo speakers, phone will be durable, and display is supposed to reach three sides. Well, that last rumor is new. A display reaching to three sides could mean a somewhat triangular phone.
Samsung Norway seems to be very excited with the next flagship phone that it’s showing more hints. You can see a countdown timer until March 1. We can expect the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge to be introduced in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress next week.
