The Samsung Galaxy C9 was listed on AnTuTu and Geekbench last month and then on TENAA just last weak together with a C9 Pro. We’ve been waiting for the C9 series and finally, the Galaxy C9 Pro is now official. It’s a mid-range phone but with the ‘Pro’ at the end of its name and the specs, we can say it’s nearly premium.

As expected, the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro boasts of a metal build design with some curves extending to the front. You’ll see the metal look and feel that is similar to the recently unveiled Oppo R9s Plus and R9s. Other special features include a large 6-inch Super AMOLED screen with 1920 x 1089 Full HD resolution, 16MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, Qualcomm octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor, 64GB built-in storage, and a 4000mAh battery. If you’re still not impressed, maybe the fact that it has 6GB RAM will.

The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is the first device from the company that boasts of 6GB RAM. It’s not the first Android phone to have such but the first ever Samsung smartphone. We’re assuming that with the memory, it can perform well and fast. There’s also a microSD card slot for storage expansion if you think the standard 64GB is not enough.

When it comes to audio quality, this one comes with a Cirrus Hi-Fi audio codec. It’s powered by Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box and offers Samsung Pay support. We’re not sure if this will be updated to Android Nougat though.

You can choose from either the Rose Gold or Gold Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro with a 3199 yuan price tag which is about $470 when converted. No idea if the model will be available out of China.
