More brands are focusing on phablets instead of bigger tablets because they are more handy and convenient to use. We’re not big fans of tablets either but we know that such can be pretty useful. We’re not sure about that 18.4-inch Galaxy View Tablet though because that’s really huge for a tablet. Actually, not a lot of tablets are selling these days. We even noted the other day that people are browsing now more on their phablets rather than tablets.

Perhaps the most popular brand when it comes to the Android tablet game is Samsung with the Galaxy Tab line. As with the Galaxy phones, there are various Galaxy Tab series to choose from. We’re not attempting to remember all of them but there’s a rumor the next offering will be the Galaxy Tab E that recently popped up in Taiwan. However, there’s also the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 images leaked a few weeks ago so we’re left confused if it would be a Tab E or a Tab A.

A recent post by a Polish website tells us that the SM-T280 is really a Galaxy Tab A. That’s contrary to the Galaxy Tab E rumored last January with the same model number. The most recent information are all pointing to the Tab A and this Polish website somehow proves it. Why, there’s a Tab A now ready for pre-order from Redcoon.pl with a PLN 599 price tag. That’s about €138 or $150 which means it’s very affordable. Availability listed on the site is March 8.

As for the specs, this Samsung tablet features a 7-inch touchscreen display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, 8GB built-in storage, 1.5GB RAM, 2MP selfie shooter, 5MP main camera, unknown 1.3 GHz quad-core chipset, and a 4000 mAh battery–not exactly premium specs. The Galaxy Tab A only runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

Weighing only 283g and measuring 186.9 x 108.8 x 8.7mm, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A is now up for pre-order in Europe, specifically in Poland. We have yet to know availability in the United States but we’ll let you know soon.
