The Motorola Moto Maxx is finally coming to India. The phone has only been available for Latin America but a teaser was posted by Flipkart, a popular online store in India. No official announcement has been made yet but it’s obvious the smartphone to be unveiled is the Moto Maxx.

The phone was called a “Moto beast” which could be any model but there was a reference to “Accelerated performance. Ballistic Nylon Fairing. Revving in soon.”-– perfect description for the Moto Maxx. Actually, the phone is just the Droid Turbo but with a different back panel.

Specs of the Moto Maxx include a 2.7GHz quad core Snapdragon 805 SoC, Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB RAM, 64GB built-in storage, 21 megapixel camera, 2160p and video recording capability at 24 fps. There’s a 3,900 mAh battery pack that guarantees and longer battery life and a turbo charger.

As expected, no details on pricing but at least we know a new Motorola phone is coming to India via Flipkart. This is good news for those in the country who want a high-end smartphone that promises great performance. We don’t know if this variant of Moto Maxx will have Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box but Motorola has already released the particular software update.
