Now that Motorola has officially launched the latest Moto phones, we only need to wait for pre-orders to open and for units to start shipping. For one, the Moto X Pure Edition’s pre-order in the US started a couple of weeks ago. In the UK and Canada, the Moto X Play was immediately up for sale. Unfortunately for the Moto X Pure Edition, it can’t be easily activated on Verizon.
It’s the Moto X Style’s turn to be up for pre-order. You can now pre-order for one due for delivery starting the 6th of October. You can customize one on Moto Maker for your color preferences. To review, the Moto X Style boasts of a 5.7-inch QHD screen, 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset, 21MP rear-facing camera with autofocus, wide-angle lens, and color-balancing flash.
Phone also comes with TurboPower charging technology that can give a 10-hour battery ofter only 15 minutes of charging. It’s actually impressive ranking third in DxOMark just behind the Galaxy S6 edge and Note 4 from Samsung. The Moto X Style’s starting price is £399 ($618). Just add £35 for the 64GB variant. The wood or leather back version will cost an extra £20.
For the Moto X Style, the new Moto 360 can be a perfect match. The latest Android Wear smartwatch from Motorola can also be customized on Moto Maker. Choose the case, bezel design, or band that you want from the numerous options. You can get either the 42mm or 46mm model starting at £229 ($355). Schedule of delivery is September 29..
