Mid-range devices are now longer the embarrassing poor relations of the flagships. They may not be as shiny as the more premium ones, but the specs are decent and sometimes even comparable to the more expensive versions in the market. The Lenovo K5 is one such device, and now those who are in the UK will be able to experience what this device has to offer as it is officially coming to retailers by June of this year.
Okay, we didn’t exactly say that its specs are spectacular, but if what you’re looking for is basic with just a little more kick, you might want to consider this device, which is from the owners of two other recently launched mid-tier smartphones, the Moto G4 and G4 Plus. The Lenovo K5 meanwhile has a 5-inch display with a 720p screen. It is powered by a Snapdragon 415 Qualcomm octa-core processor and has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, expandable to 32GB through a microSD card.
Multi-media wise, the Lenovo K5 offers something more than its contemporaries. It has a 13MP main camera and a 5MP front-facing one, so that’s not bad at all for a smartphone in this tier. Its Dolby Atmos technology with its two speakers will let you enjoy listening to music or even watching videos on it. It has a 2750 mAh battery which is replaceable, if you have an extra one in your pocket.
It will retail for around £129 and will be available in stores like Carphone Warehouse, Amazon, and Tesco. These store will stock up on the Lenovo K5 by June.
