Ah yes. T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 4 owners have been waiting for the official Android 5.0 Lollipop update ever since the CM12 version, AT&T’s, and Verizon’s Galaxy Note 4 have gotten a taste of the sweet Lollipop last month and earlier this April. We were already told T-mobile would be next and it’s finally here and it’s even better because it’s already the Android 5.0.1 (baseband N910TUVU1COD6) version.
Those who own a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 should receive an Over-The-Air (OTA) notification from the network in the next few days. Aside from the usual Android 5.0 Lollipop features, this update has enabled Wi-Fi passport on the device. You an also update your Note 4’s version via Samsung Kies.
If you’re eager to know if software version is ready for your T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4, you can manually check on your phone by going to your Settings> System> About device. Check the Baseband version and see if it’s anything listed below:
To update the Galaxy Note 4 using the Samsung Kies application, allow app to detect supported device. Follow the prompts to finish update. Make sure you follow each step to ensure complete and correct installation.
Minimum requirements for Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update for your Galaxy Note 4 from T-Mobile include the N910TUVU1ANK4 version, Wi-Fi access, at least 50% of battery, and free space of at least of 1.1GB (1100 MB).
