Unless a new flagship from some of the biggest tech brands today is announced, we’re focusing our attention on the LG G4. The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge have been launched already while Sony just unveiled the Xperia Z4 just the other day. We’re left with the LG G4 as the latest and highly anticipated since LG has been publishing several teaser videos already.
LG already showed off the UX 4.0 ahead of the April 28 launch of the G4. It will be the first to use to the UX which is actually the fourth version already. Based on the first video we saw earlier this month, the UX 4.0 will include enhanced features of the UX 1.0, UX 2.0, and UX 3.0. The part two of the UX 4.0 teaser was posted yesterday on YouTube and now we’ve got more information. The UX 4.0 will have these main features: Gesture Interval Shot, Ringtone ID, and Quick Memo Plus.
You may say these features are not really new but LG improved on them from the past versions. For one, the Quick Memo is now Quick Memo Plus, a feature that lets the user keep part of the information that is only needed, removing the apps and other unnecessary images.
The Ringtone ID feature automatically composes unique ringtone for your favorite contacts so when the phone rings, you don’t have to stop whatever you’re doing to just look at screen. You can pick it up and answer right away.
Quick Shot is already a basic feature but the UX 4.0 now allows double tapping on Rear Key to quickly to take a photo even when phone is locked. There’s also the new Gesture Interval Shot that let’s you take four shots at a quick interval so you can have four photos to choose from.
