It was only in February when Lenovo introduced three new Tab3 models. We know it’s scheduled to introduce a new one in the form of the Tab3 8 Plus which was recently sighted. Obviously, it’s a higher-specced version of the early Tab3 Android tablet. No confirmation yet but the device is believed to have an 8-inch Full HD screen, 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, 3GB RAM, and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset.

Looking at the rumored specs, we can say the the Tab3 8 Plus is powerful enough. From 1GB, RAM is now 3GB with three options for storage capacity–16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. There’s also the microSD card slot for expansion so users can save more. Other specs include an 8MP main camera, 5MP front-facing selfie cam, Bluetooth, WiFi, and 4G LTE connectivity.

As we all know, any device updated with the ‘Plus’ means an upgraded version. For this Tab3 Plus, the new processor is said to make it even faster. As for the design, the tablet will still have the same sleek lines and form. No information on pricing and exact availability but it could still be below $200–maybe around $149.

We have no idea if the other Lenovo Tab 3 variants, the Tab3 7 and Tab3 10, will also have their Plus versions but images of a beefier Lenovo Tab3 7 were leaked a couple of weeks ago. Let’s just wait and see.
