We don’t know a lot about the Lenovo K5 Note but the particular mobile device is now available in China. It’s an exclusive offering in the country until another variant rolls out in India. Lenovo confirmed that there will be a K5 Note variant ready for the Indians and powered by a 4GB RAM. As one of the biggest emerging markets today, India is very much lucky to receive some of the more in-demand units from the company.
What’s interesting is that this Indian variant will have 4GB RAM compared to its Chinese counterpart which is loaded with only 2GB RAM. In China, it’s sold for RMB 1,099 which is about $165. We’re guessing the phone that will be released in India will be slightly higher given the boost in RAM. We know whatever amount is added to the price, the handset will still be considered mid-range.
Lenovo will be unveiling the K5 Note in India this coming August 1. To review, the Lenovo K5 Note comes equipped with a 5.5-inch FullHD screen, 1080p resolution, 4GB RAM, octa-core 1.8Ghz MediaTek Helio P10 processor, Mali T-860 MP2 graphics, 16GB built-in storage, microSD card slot (max of 128GB storage expansion), Dolby Atmos speakers, and a 13MP and 8MP camera system. The phone runs Vibe UI on top of the Android 5.1 Lollipop. All these and more are packed inside an all-metal build of the Lenovo Note K5.
