Google Allo is finally available. The new instant messaging app that was introduced together with the Duo back in May at the Google I/O Conference is now ready for download. We’ve been waiting for this particular app since the Duo was released last month, getting the No. 1 spot in Play Store’s Top Charts.
Google Allo is a new smart chart app that features incognito chats, expiring messages, and private notifications. We said it will be set as default on Android Nougat but nothing is certain yet. App is now available on both iOS and Android.
Google Allo makes messaging more efficient with its many features. Right in a conversation, you can do numerous things like express yourself, find information you need, and make special plans. App features Smart Reply that allows you to send a quick response to messages with a single tap of pre-saved text. It’s like having your own chat assistant that knows how you would commonly respond. The more you use Allo, the more it will understand and remember your style as a mobile user.
Allo is loaded with several stickers, emojis, and photos to help you express yourself better. Chatting is not just typing letters and words. You are free to make any text larger for emphasis, add emojis, and scribble notes on an image you want to share.
Google Allo integrates with a Google Assistant so you can have the items you need while in a chat. You can set future travel or plans by doing a research and then getting information on hotels, flights, and destinations. If you want to know the weather, news, sports, traffic, or even flight status, you can simply ask the Assistant.
