What happens when you freeze a phone into a block of ice and then drops it from a height of 100 feet? We don’t know but the geeks at Gizmo Slip had a little fun with the idea and tried it. A Samsung Galaxy Note 7, which is supposed to be waterproof, was dropped into a bowl of water and then frozen after a few hours.
Gizmo Slip, the same guys who did the ASUS Transformer Prime vs shotgun and many other similar crazy stuff, did freeze the new Note 7 and then dropped it onto a concrete floor. We somehow had an idea how the experiment would end but it’s exciting to watch just like any other drop test out there.
We’ve shown you how the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was tested against the iPhone 6S in a Drop Test and Speed Test. It survived another drop test by a YouTuber, and now this in what we call an “epic frozen drop test”.
Fully submerge the phablet into a clear bowl…
Freeze the device into a block of ice…
After some six hours, the Note 7 was still working but was making some movements on the screen…
After freezing it again for about 23 hours, the bowl of water was completely frozen but phone already had no power or it was turned off…
The drop test…
So what’s the verdict?
Yup! It survived!

The first story I saw said 1000 ?
1000 feet would be some of the tallest building in the world – from the picture, i doubt it https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_tallest_buildings_in_the_world
It would be cool
Wow, this is really useful information.
