One of the smartwatch models we’re anticipating right now is the Fossil Q Founder. We’ve been hearing about the Intel-run wearable since early 2015 and we got a preview of the Q line a couple of months ago. That’s before the Fossil Group officially bought the Misfit technology brand. It was then officially released last week and now we’ve got information that the Fossil Q Founder smartwatch will be available on Google Store.

This is good news as we first thought it will only be available online from Fossil. The $275 smartwatch runs Android Wear so we can say it’s a Google-supported product. However, there is no mention of availability and shipping or even just the pre-order date but at least we know it’s coming soon.

Two models will be available: the light stainless steel case/silver-finish steel bracelet and another stainless steel version with a leather band. Price shouldn’t change though and just the same as what’s listed on Fossil’s website.

To review, the Fossil Q Founder comes equipped with a 1.5-inch circular touchscreen display, 360 x 326 pixel resolution, Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity, WiFi, 400mAh battery, 4GB built-in storage,  and 1GB RAM. Smartwatch may be Android Wear-powered with at least Android 4.4 but it’s also compatible for devices running iOS 8 or later.

The Fossil Q Founder is also IP67 certified so we know it’s very durable and can last long as another classic timepiece. Check out the Fossil Q Founder on Google Store. Available soon.
