If you’re the type of Android user who likes to tweak software, install custom ROMs and use mods, then the FlashFire app should be a boon to you. The app allows you to flash stock firmware, kernels, custom recoveries, custom ROMs easily. And now, the app has just broken out from Google’s BETA program and out into the open.

The app was designed by the legendary Chainfire, creator of SuperSU and CF Auto Root, two apps that have become essential in getting more control over your Android device. Chainfire has been regularly adding features to the FlashFire app, which up until recently was still in Google’s BETA apps program. Now, the app is finally available for the public via the Google Play Store.

New features that arrived with this launch (in version 0.50 of the app) include fixes for all known issues when working with Android N Developer Preview version 3. The developer also fixed a number of issues that caused crashing of the app, so in a way, FlashFire is more stable now that it used to be. Chainfire also temporarily disabled multi-threaded processing when doing backups and restores due to the app crashing on multi-threaded performance.

If you want to download FlashFire, the developer warning still stands – make sure you know what you’re doing. The download link is after the source link below. Enjoy!
