Coolpad has been around but it’s not the brand you would usually check first if you’re shopping for a new smartphone. People looking for affordable devices know this because of the numerous Coolpad phones we’ve featured through the years including the Coolpad Quattro II 4G, Magview 4, FLO 3G, and the Coolpad Rogue.
One of the first Coolpad devices to be unveiled this year is the Coolpad Max smartphone announced in Indonesia. Introduced at a special launch event in Indonesia, the Coolpad Max is said to offer a dual experience while connecting more people together.
Coolpad Group’s CEO Mr. Douglas Li proudly said:
“Coolpad will continue to create sophisticated products that empower you to do more, and live more securely than ever. Our products and services will connect you to each other and become essential and beloved parts of your lives.”
Coolpad Max comes with the Dual Space feature so user can separate the work life from the personal life. You don’t have to use a separate mobile device now because you can run two accounts of some of your favorite apps like Facebook, BBM, WhatsApp, or Line. Specs of the phone include the following: 5.5 inches FHD display, Edge Curved Glass 2.5D glass screen, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 1.5GHz 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 MSM8952 Octa-core chipset, 4GB RAM, Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, and a 13MP rear camera.
Also announced is the Coolpad Max Lite that looks just like the same but with mid-range specs. There’s still the fingerprint technology and Dual Space but phone now comes with only 3GB RAM and 1.4GHz 64bit Octa Core MSM8929 processor.
You can pre-order for the Coolpad Max for only $375 (Rp 4.999.000) starting June 10 on Blibli.com. The Max Lite variant is now ready for purchase with a more affordable price also online.
