It’s been a fun few months for Waze users as new navigation voices were being added (for a limited time only, drats) to make your journey a bit more interesting. You had C3PO looking for R2D2, the voice of God himself Morgan Freeman, and then just recently, basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal was guiding you to your destination. Now, you can choose to let hiphop artist T-Pain auto tune his way into your Waze and to wherever you are going.

T-Pain has become synonymous with auto-tuning (although he does still sound great without it, if you’ve listened to his NPR session), that audio process that turns even the most mundane words into something seemingly lyrical. And now his distinctive altered vocals has been added to Waze’s database of navigation voices, alongside the usual Jane, Amy, Nathan, Randy, Boy Band, Colonel Sanders, and of course, the aforementioned Shaq.

His voice would be perfect if you’re heading out to a club or somewhere chill, or if you just want to always hear his melodies auto tuned voice guiding you to wherever you’re going. Waze didn’t say if this is a limited time feature only, like C3PO and Morgan Freeman, or if you get to enjoy him forever. So just choose him now, in case it will only be available up to a certain time.

To change your navigation voice, head on over to Menu > Settings > Sound > Voice Language, and then of course choose T-Pain. Who are you wishing that Waze would get next?
