Less than two weeks ago, Apple officially released the Beats Pill+ app for Android devices. That is different from the Apple Music mentioned last June. We knew the new music service app is coming very soon as invites for beta trial were spotted and some photos were leaked in the last few weeks.
Our time of waiting is now over as the Cupertino company officially launched the Apple Music on Android. It’s still in beta so that means app may still be buggy. More features like music videos will be added soon. Apple is currently working on optimizing sign-up process for Android to ensure a smooth transaction every time.
When you download the Apple Music app, you will start with a 3-month trial so you can access the Apple Music catalog that is filled with more than 30 million songs. You can set your own Apple Music playlist and choose from curated ones set by music experts. Listen to exclusive radio shows with the ‘Radio’ feature on Beats 1.
If you like a particular song, you can get more information about the artist and discover more music, videos, and photos about him. You can also integrate your iTunes music account so you can play saved music and purchases right on the Apple Music.
As for family membership, upgrades and sign-ups require iOS or Mac. Those who previously subscribed to Beats Music will have to download Apple Music instead so they can continue to enjoy the service. The old app will soon be removed so make sure you download and use the Apple Music instead.
Apple Music is ready to download for free by some features and availability may not be offered in some regions. Beats Music subscribers are enjoined to download Apple Music. Move from the old Beats app and use the Apple Music instead.
