We’re now on the second half of the year. That means we’re done with the first six months of checking dozens of smartphones. We’ve probably reached over a hundred but we didn’t feature every single device announced anywhere else in the world. We’ve listed the 2016 flagships and by now, you’ve decided on what’s really the best Android phone for you.

We trust AnTuTu for its many reviews and for 1H, we now have the Top 10 Performance Smartphones. On top of the list is–guess what–the OnePlus 3. That’s not bad for a newcomer as it has quickly edged out the Vivo Xplay5 Elite from its first ranking. OnePlus 3 received an average score of 140288 compared to the 138706 of the Vivo handset.

The phones part of the Top 10 list scored more than 100,000 on AnTuTu’s Performance Tests. Most of these are flagship phones equipped with 4GB RAM, 64GB built-in storage, and Snapdragon 820 processor. New handsets made it to the list aside from the new OnePlus phone. The Lenovo ZUK Z2 and the ZTE AXON plus the OnePlus 3 replaced the LG G5, Meizu Pro6, and the Honor v8 from last May’s rankings.

If you’re not familiar with AnTuTu, here are some important details about how the tests were made:
1. Statistical source version :Antutu Benchmark V6.0
2. Statistics Method: take the the average score of one device model, one chip model
3. At least 2000 data sample for one device’s score
4. Statistic time: 1st, Jan ,2016 to 30th, June, 2016

Remember that AnTuTu didn’t just make a list. We’re talking about data and information here gathered using a sound statistical method that computes the average scores from about 2000 phone as sample.

Here are the Top 1-10 Performance Smartphones for 1H 2016: OnePlus 3, Vivo Xplay5 Elite, LeEco Max2, Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 5, Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, iPhone 6S, ZTE AXON7, iPhone SE, and Lenovo ZUK Z2.

  1. Antutu seems to be fraud as they have some buttons inside tabs which leads to a page saying Android is infected with virus!! This time it took me to another ad.. it’s the get button for swift wifi…
