The HTC U12 flagship phone is scheduled to be unveiled this coming May 23. Live photos of the phone were shared online before the grand reveal after being leaked for a while on Verizon’s website. We’ve been wondering about the notch but we learned there won’t be one. It will be the only 2018 flagship phone from the brand and so we’re curious about how the next-gen premium offering will make a mark. We want to know if the phone will indeed feature a matte white metal and glass body.
The HTC U12+ is expected to have a full-screen bezel-less display. Also known as the HTC Imagine, the HTC U12 or HTC U12+ will come equipped with a 6-inch SuperLCD screen with 18:9 display and 2880 x 1440 resolution covered by a Gorilla Glass, 64GB or 128GB storage, MicroSD card slot, 3500mAh battery with QuickCharge tech, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB 3.1 Type C port, 8MP rear camera with F/2.0 aperture, and 12MP with F/1.75 aperture and 16MP (F/1.75) dual selfie cameras. The phone runs on a 2.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Octa-core processor and HTC Sense on top of Android 8.0 Oreo.
The HTC U12+ phone is waterproof so you can bring it with you to the pool or beach, just perfect for the upcoming summer. It measures 8.7 to 9.7mm and weighs 188 grams if we’re talking dimensions.
