HTC may not be publicly confirming the rumored June 8 release of the HTC Sensation 4G on T-Mobile USA, but it has thrown up a sign-up page for those wanting more information. The tri-tone smartphone has a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, HSPA+ connectivity and a 4.3-inch qHD display.

There’s also an 8-megapixel camera on the back with autofocus and a dual-LED flash. HTC has reworked the camera app to minimize start-up lag, so that there’s less chance of missing impromptu shots. Meanwhile the Sensation will debut HTC Sense 3.0, the latest version of the company’s interface, complete with a new homescreen launcher.

We’ve more on the HTC Sensation in our hands-on report from the launch of the European version, identical bar the radios. Meanwhile for all the specs, check out HTC’s product page.

  1. Looks smokin! I have been waiting fro T-Mobile to put out a high end HTC that DIDNT have Windows. Now we finally have all the bells and whistles. My MyTouch slide will begin acting up right around the 7th of June 😉

  2. Fellow Android enthusiasts, if you are looking for a workaround for the dedicated camera button, there is an app called Camera Zoom FX in the market. It will allow you to set the volume up/down button to take a picture, or any other hardware button (except the power button). Of course, as the name suggests, it’ll allow you to add many photo effects to your photos. Just wanted to share… I am looking forward to seeing this phone, plus the Galaxy S II. Choices, choices, choices…

  3. I’ve been a fan of htc since the g1. They always seem to put out a nice product and i’ve always wanted them to bring a nice new android phone to tmo with a 4.3 inch screen. If at&t purchase of tmo goes through will it destroy the phone alot of us been waiting for by changing all of tmo cell towers and making the phone basically useless
