Not all Galaxy phones may receive the latest Nougat software update but most of them can still receive the Grace UX. Samsung’s latest user interface can be experienced on the Galaxy Note 5, at least in South Korea. The change in user experience somehow delivers a bit of the Lollipop and Nougat features. We know the Note 5 will also get the Android 7.0 but while waiting, here’s the Grace experience. First launched on the problematic Note 7, the Grace UX is now ready with more enhancements, stability improvements, and bug fixes.
Aside from the Note 5, we also know the Galaxy S7, S7 edge, and Grand Prime (2016) will receive the Grace UX as part of the Android Nougat. This is somehow expected because we’ve seen it demonstrated a few months ago.
OTA notifications are being sent out already so expect to receive one in the coming days. You should see the KKU2CPI1 firmware version but as always, you can always check Settings> About Device> Software Update> Update Now. Expect to see more of the Ultra Power Saving Mode, Blue Light Filter, Game Tools, Smart Manager, and Wide Selfie.
This Grace user interface is mainly based on Android 6.0.1. It won’t bring Nougat just yet to the Galaxy Note 5 but you will notice the obvious enhancements.
