Another new phone was recently unveiled at the IFA 2016 show in Berlin. TP-Link joins the numerous brands announcing their latest products. We’re more familiar with the brand for its routers but it case you didn’t know, TP-Link also ventured into the smartphone business with the Neffos line earlier this year. The Neffos C5 was followed-up by the Neffos Y5L which is targeted for the younger generation. This time at the IFA 2016, TP-Link announced two new phones: the Neffos X1 and the Neffos X1 Max. They look exactly the same but the Max is the amped version between the two.
Neffos X Series definitely looks stylish and premium. The smartphones boast of a sleek, unibody metal build with a more ergonomic form. The dual-curved back allows a comfortable grip so you can use it with just one hand. The two phones are very thin at only 2.95mm and 2.75mm and are very slender at 7.95mm and 7.75 mm. The bezels are almost gone as they measure only 0.6mm.
Specs of the Neffos X include a 5.5-inch display, 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass, 1,000:1 color contrast, 13MP Sony sensor (with 5P lens and phase-detection auto-focus,f/2.0 aperture lens), 5MP front-facing camera, fingerprint sensor, octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 chipset, max of 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, microSD card for memory expansion, and a 3000mAh battery.

When it comes to availability and pricing, the Neffos X1 will be €199 ($223) while the €249 for the bigger, more powerful Neffos X1 Max will be €249 ($278). Color options include Sunrise Gold and Cloudy Grey. Phones will be released before 2016 ends.
