After the Moto G4 family, expect Motorola to introduce the new Moto E3. We were told that the company isn’t getting rid of the E line and we even heard of the idea that two Lenovo XT models might be the next Moto E phones. True enough, Lenovo did announce a new Moto E model last week bearing the same 5-inch form factor of the previous models.

Motorola, err..Lenovo recently announced the Moto E. The series has always been one of the best value-for-money phone and it will remain that way. In the US, it was approved by the FCC and someone quickly noted that the battery will be removable according to the FCC sticker. Other information gathered include the idea that there will be a microSD card slot and that there will be a 16GB version.

The Motorola Moto E3 (XT1607) will be released in the UK in September for about $132. We’re guessing the US version will also be out at the same month just in time for the beginning of the school year.

This Moto E3 will come equipped with a 5.0-inch display screen, 720 x 1280 resolution, quad-core processor, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing cam, and a 2800mAh battery. As for the pricing in the US, it should be at the same price point–below $150. We’re expecting several mobile carriers will make their own announcements about the availability and plan offerings for this new Moto E3 handset.
