Aren’t you the least bit curious as to why a lot (and we mean A LOT) of Samsung Galaxy Note 6 rumors are surfacing now, when we are still maybe 6 months away from the real launch of the device? We’ve been wondering too, but no time to dilly-dally now, we’ve got more rumors incoming. This one says that the screen size of the new phablet will be increased an inch to 5.8 inches, and that we should expect a curved display and a monster 4,000mAh battery.
Ok, so the source may not be too sure about flat or curved displays, but is willing to go out on a limb to say that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 6 could feature a 5.8-inch “Slim RGB” display. The RGB AMOLED display was last seen in the Galaxy S2, so it’s curious why the Korean gadget giant might want to revert to it now, being that it said RGB AMOLED screens tend not last as long as standard AMOLED screens. Also, Samsung is reportedly toying around with either a curved display (like the Edge models) or a flat display.
Another point of notice is the power source for the phablet, which the source pegs at maybe around 4,000mAh. Given the 0.1-inch increase in screen size and the increase in body size, it should not be difficult to fit a big battery in there. If Samsung follows the trend of producing thicker flagship models (the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are both thicker than their predecessors), there might be a good chance that the Galaxy Note 6 will get a bigger battery.
Of course, everything here is a rumor of one sort or another, and we have no way of confirming these. As the months roll in, more and more information will start to leak from Samsung, and we’ll see which of these rumors have solid foundation.

6 months? The Note 5 was unveiled in mid-August 2015 and rumor has it the Note 6 will be announced possibly in July 2016. I think we’re looking at 3-4 months away.
Thank Rio’s Games I think Samsung will bring Note 6 early.
