So much has been said about the HTC 10–the new premium flagship phone from the Taiwanese OEM. The Android phone impressed us a bit by being a worthy upgrade with it hi-res audio and imaging quality. We know this IP53-certified phone will be available from T-Mobile according to the epic unboxing and a camellia red version will be exclusive in Japan.
Last week, HTC started giving discounts off the HTC 10 in the UK, Canada, and the US but we have yet to hear about specific offerings from mobile carriers. Even if we’re heartbroken that the 64GB model may not be available in the US market, now we know that Verizon is offering the smartphone soon.
Verizon will be listing the HTC 10 up for pre-order beginning April 29. No information on pricing and exact availability or under what plans the phone can be purchased but at least we know the HTC 10 will be ready Stateside. We’re hoping for a Spring release and not later in Summer.
Verizon is also said to be hosting an exclusive event on April 29. We’re not expecting a big launch but just in-store previews where potential customers can test drive the new Android smartphone. To review, the HTC 10 comes equipped with a 5.2-inch Quad HD Super LCD screen, 2560 X 1440 pixel resolution, Snapdragon 820, 4GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage, microSD card slot, 12MP with OIS and HTC UltraPixel 2 setup, 5MP OIS Selfie camera, 3000mAh battery, Quick Charge 3.0, Fingerprint sensor, and HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi Edition audio.
