Don’t expect the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge to be introduced during the CES this coming January or at the Mobile World Congress in March as the South Korean tech giant is believed to unveil the two in February. Just like this 2015, the company is set to launch two flagship phones at the same time.

We’ve heard a lot of rumors already about the upcoming phones: that it will have pressure sensitive display, will run a Qualcomm S820 processor, and might have a microSD card slot back.

More rumors and leaks will be published in the coming weeks but now, let’s ponder upon this diagram of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge that shows some specs. So far, we can confirm that the Edge still has a bigger screen than the S7. It’s 5.5-inch versus a 5.2-inch display. There’s a flat back panel and nothing curved even on the Edge version.

As for the material, we’re assuming Samsung will retain the glass and metal build of the phone. The IR blaster seems to be gone now too. Samsung could be following OEMs who have already dropped this particular element.

To review, the Galaxy S7 specs are as follows: 5.2-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 820 CPU or Exynos 8890, 32GB or 64GB built-in storage, 20 megapixel Sony IMX300 camera with OIS, and LTE Cat 12. As for the Galaxy S7 Edge, we can expect almost the same features except for the bigger 5.5-inch dual-curved display screen.
