This particular game has been anticipated and called different names – like Mevius Final Fantasy, and Mavius Final Fantasy – but it seems like the official naming of this new game from Square Enix will be “Mobius Final Fantasy”. See the trailer at the jump and start getting excited for this one, all you Final Fantasy fans.
If you’re going to shrug this off as just another Final Fantasy mini-game or spin-off game, don’t. In fairness, Square Enix has been doing that a lot these days, milking the cash cow that is the Final Fantasy franchise. But this one will be a full-fledged installment to the series, so get ready for some serious action RPG gaming here.
There will be new characters in different classes – including White Mage, Ranger, Thief, Dark Knight, Hunter, Knight, and Warrior. That may not be an exhaustive list as well, as we wait for more official information on this game. There could be a lot of party customizing in this game, and how you build your party could point a lot to how you enjoy the famed FF gameplay.
So, are you digging the new trailer? We sincerely hope Square Enix delivers on this new game like it has in other parts of the Final Fantasy franchise.
