The latest piece of the puzzle for the OnePlus One has been revealed. We’ve previously been told the handset will launch on April 23rd, and now we know those in Europe will be able to pick the handset up for “under” 350 euros. Something a bit more specific would have been nicer. Not to mention, something for those outside of Europe.
In regards to the pricing, OnePlus also did a bit more teasing. Specifically, it was said that OnePlus is “still working out the details, but can say the One will be available for under 350€.” If nothing else, this does give those in Europe a bit of lead time to start setting some cash aside ahead of April 23rd.
Some screenshots showing CyanogenMod 11S recently leaked for the OnePlus One. Those showed a bit of what can be expected in terms of looks, but perhaps more important for some is the steady stream we’ve been seeing in terms of spec confirmations. For example, the One will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor.
There has also been talk of some customization by way of removable back covers. These were called StyleSwap covers and will be available in a variety of colors and styles. OnePlus has confirmed a handful including silk, sandstone, denim, bamboo and kevlar. Touching back on the confirmed specs — those include a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 3100 mAh battery and 13MP rear-facing camera.
