We were seeing a fair amount of chatter about the OPPO Find 7. The talk was a mix of rumor and leak along with some teasers coming direct from OPPO. That all seemed to have went quiet, however new reports are suggesting the handset is going to get an official announcement next month.
To be specific, it is looking like OPPO will announce the Find 7 on March 19th. The details came by way of some images shared by OPPO. The first of the images is showing a number sequence of “2014319” which appears to be the connection to the date — 2014, March, 19.
The other image, which is actually a three-in-one brings mention of 798, 7 and a third longer series of 708979134102. Again, looking at this series brings the date. If you read right-side to left-side you will see 2014, 3, and 19. The remaining numbers may be a bit more mysterious, at least for those outside the Beijing area.
It seems 798 is the location of the art district in Beijing. The last number, 7, is believed to be the time an announcement event will take place. Bottom line here, it is looking like OPPO will be announcing the Find 7 at 7PM on March 19, 2014. Still, we do have to remember that while OPPO has shared these teaser images, they have yet to make an official announcement regarding an event.
Otherwise, looking back and we know the Find 7 will launch with a 5.5-inch 2K display with 4G LTE connectivity. This next bit has yet to be confirmed, however rumors and leaks suggest the Find 7 will be powered by a Snapdragon 800, or 805 processor with 3GB of RAM.
