Much of the OPPO chatter has been around the Find 7 lately. And while those details are beginning to surface, there is another handset, the OPPO R1. The R1 was unveiled earlier in the month and is expected to arrive for purchase in late-December. We have yet to see specific release details based on market, however some hands-on images have recently been discovered.
OPPO did share some press style images when they unveiled the R1, however the in-the-wild style images sometime reveal a bit more in terms of details. In any case, the images of the R1 have surfaced out of China and are offering a look at the phone from the front and back as well as the sides.
As you’ll likely notice, the handset does have a case, however given it is clear we are still seeing a complete picture. Images aside, the OPPO R1 is a handset sporting a 5-inch 720p display with a quad-core 1.3GHz processor. The handset also has 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 5 megapixel front-facing camera and 8 megapixel rear-facing camera.
Shifting away from the R1 and looking back towards the Find 7, the details for that model are beginning to shape up. OPPO has yet to confirm a full set of specs, however they have confirmed the name and have begun dropping some hints as to the specifics. There was talk about how the Find 7 would not have a 5.7 or 7.0-inch display, but that it would be 2K.
Given we are looking at the Find 7 as a follow-up to the Find 5, this next bit comes with a bit less in terms of surprise. But that said, OPPO did begin teasing the Find 7 name with the kickoff of the Always Improve campaign. To that point, OPPO has said the Find 5 was “just the beginning.”
