We watched as the Tapatalk HD was released in open beta form back in October and then as it made its way into the Google Play Store back in late December. Of course, despite the app finding its way into Google Play — it remained a beta. And well, it looks like the app has since graduated.
Tapatalk HD version 1.0 is now available for download. Or rather simply, Tapatalk HD has ditched the beta phase. This app has been designed for tablets and will run on devices with Android 3.0 or later. That being said, those who have been waiting for this app to arrive may want to move forward and purchase the app today. You see, Tapatalk HD has been released with an introductory price of $0.99.
And for those wondering about the regular price, after today the app will be selling for $4.99. Regardless of the price you pay though, the features will include a gallery view on bigger forums, including the ability to discover new discussions by images. The features also include push notifications for subscribed topics, private messages, likes received, mentions and more.
Otherwise, the Tapatalk HD app also brings options to use a dark or light mode as well as forum moderation tools to include stick open, close, delete and ban. And finally, as many like to see with a tablet app — Tapatalk HD has been optimized for both portrait and landscape mode.
