Okay, this is getting ridiculous. After informing you that the Samsung Galaxy S variant for Verizon has been hitting warehouses around the country, and now a suspected release date gets tipped for September 9th, we now have the training documents from Verizon making their way onto the Internet. Basically, ladies and gentlemen, we can start counting down the days until this Super AMOLED-toting handset makes its debut on the largest wireless carrier here in the States.
Thanks to a Verizon Ninja, Boy Genius Report was able to get their hands on the training documents for the Samsung Fascinate. It goes on to confirm that the device will indeed have a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, the 1GHz Hummingbird processor under the hood, launch with Android 2.1, and having a 5MP camera on the back. The documents say that full support for Flash Player will be available by the end of 2010, so that’s when we can probably expect Android 2.2 to make it to the Fascinate (and the other US-based Galaxy S devices?).
The Fascinate will also launch with Verizon’s NFL Mobile application, Amazon Kindle pre-loaded, and Visual Voicemail, along with Backup Assistant. It will also come with Bing Maps and Google Maps with Navigation (thankfully). So, it looks like the standard bloatware is there, along with all of the good features we expect. Check out the source link for more screens of the leaked documents.
