We briefly mentioned yesterday when we talked about in-app billing going live on Android that Tap Tap Revenge 4 would be featuring in-app billing. What we didn’t mention at the time was that Tap Tap Revenge 4 was hitting the Android Market as a free game the same day.

This is the first time that the game has been offered on Android and it has been popular on other platforms like the iPhone for years. The game has some popular music to play along to including tracks by Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Metallica, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, Pitbull, Linkin Park, Far East Movement, Selena Gomez, Green Day, Cee Lo Green, Kid Cudi, Rihanna, My Chemical Romance and Florence + The Machine. Some songs are available as in-app purchases.

The game is Android optimized and has lots of free tracks. The free tracks include some from indie bands and others. The game also allows the player to like a track and then challenge others to beat their score on liked tracks.
