Sony Ericsson Announces Xperia Play Dock with 3 Bonus Games

We already knew Sony Ericsson was going to be promoting the Xperia Play over at E3 this week, and today they’ve announced a new accessory for it. The Xperia Play Experience Pack, as they call it, comes with a standard dock to use as a charging station or to turn your Xperia Play into a desk clock as well as an audio cable and USB cable. The extra bonus is three free games from Gameloft to download for your shiny Playstation phone.

The dock is a pretty run of the mill desk dock that many Android phones have available. The dock makes for a great charging station to dump your phone into at the end of the day, or for you to turn your phone into an alarm clock. This phone is all about games though and that’s the big draw here. Gameloft is offering three “free” downloads from some of their upcoming Android games with the purchase of the pack. The available games are:

Assassin’s Creed™ – Altaïr’s Chronicles
Uno™
Real Football 2011
Modern Combat 2 : Black Pegasus
Let’s Golf! 2
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction™
Brothers In Arms® 2: Global Front
N.O.V.A. 2 – Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance
Eternal Legacy

I have a feeling that this may turn into a “buy three games and get a free dock.” The Xperia Play is continuing to push hard. If you’ve got one, and want to see what games are worthy of your fancy new controls, or if you want to see if the gaming experience on the Play is worth it, check out our review and our portal for Xperia game reviews here.
