A few months back Samsung released their WiFi only Galaxy Note 8.0 slate to the market, and now those on AT&T will be able to enjoy it alongside some blazing fast 4G LTE speeds. We saw it hit the FCC so knew it was coming, but this afternoon AT&T has announced the 4G LTE Galaxy Note 8.0 will be exclusively on AT&T later this month.

Samsung’s 8-inch slate is pretty impressive, and of course the stylus gives you all those additional options and features along with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. For more details you’ll want to check out our detailed Galaxy Note 8.0 Review, even though it’s only the WiFi models. The important bits remain the same.

Samsung’s 8.0-inch 720p HD display is beautiful, and the multi-screen modes sure come in handy and will be even more useful while out and about using AT&T 4G LTE. Sadly we knew this was coming, and just wanted a price, release date, and to know if we could make calls with it. None of these questions were answered today.

The international 3G model has full voice functionality. So yes, you can put that massive 8-inch device up to your ear should you choose (not sure who would) but it doesn’t appear the 4G LTE model today will have such features. According to AT&T it will not support phone functions, but we’ll update if we learn more.

Again, no details were released today as far as pricing or a release date. AT&T states it will be available later this month.
