Google’s Andy Rubin has announced that the company is seeing over 300,000 Android phones activated per day. The Android exec took to Twitter to confirm the figure, a 100,000 increase over numbers Google confirmed back in August.

It’s certainly enough to race past Apple’s most recent activation figures for iPhone, and a solid rebuttal to those who suggested Android sales had plateaued.
