We're no strangers to home replacement launchers here, especially one as excellent as Nova. For all you Nova launcher and Prime users out there, today the developers at Teslacoil have just issued a nice little update that will bring tons of additional options and effects to your smartphone and tablet.

The highly customizable home screen replacement launcher gained popularity back during the Ice Cream Sandwich days, but has continued to evolve into one of the best launchers for any Android version, and that includes 4.2 and 4.3 Jelly Bean. Today it just got even better too.

The update rolling out as we speak brings a few custom dock options for regular users, but almost everything else is limited to Nova Prime paid customers only. We can now change between 4 different dock styles, colors, and backgrounds on the free version. Which is nice.

Then for those who've paid for Nova Prime, you'll enjoy custom badge styles for the unread count indicators, and a slew of new scroll effects have been added to the already huge list. These effects really gives your home screen a new and custom feel, so that's a welcomed set of additions. Last but not least the devs state optimizations and fixes were implemented as well. If you haven't tried NOVA, now would be a good time. Get it below and enjoy.
