OPPO is anticipated to reveal its next premium flagship phone. The Find 9 was recently spotted on GFXBench, listed with 4GB RAM and a Mediatek chipset. This time, we’ve got information that the OPPO will finally use the Super VOOC Flash Charge technology on the new Find 9. This Chinese tech company introduced the Super VOOC Flash Charge together with the new SmartSensor OIS technology at the Mobile World Congress in February.
Back then, we had no idea which Oppo phone would use the fast-charging tech first. We just knew the new technology would directly rival MTK’s Pump Express and Qualcomm’s Quick Charge. What’s more exciting about this new tech is that it could charge a 2500mAh battery from zero to 100% full charge within 15 minutes only. Additional leaks tell us that this VOOC Charging will offer more charge in less time. That’s 5x faster charging speed compared to conventional charges. That’s OPPO’s claims and we’ll finally find out once the OPPO Find 9 is ready in the market.
We’re still considering this as a rumor but a recent leaked image tells us that the upcoming OPPO Find 9 will show off the new charging feature. It’s too good to be true so unless we see the Find 9 and test it for ourselves, we won’t believe just yet. Rumor has it that the OPPO Find 9 will have a 1080p display, 3GB RAM, 16MP rear camera, 4MP selfie cam, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.
This variant is also believed to have a higher-end version with 4 or 6GB RAM and probably a 2K display and hopefully, 64GB on onboard storage. As for the battery, we’re also hoping it will be bigger than 2500MAh and yes, that Super VOOC Flash Charging better be ready.
