Windows 10 Cortana

We knew Cortana is coming for Android and you know what, it’s finally out. Well, not officially but just as a leak unfortunately for Microsoft. The software is due for release before July ends but looks like someone can’t keep things to himself. We have no idea how Cortana was leaked or from whom but Microsoft’s personal assistant is already functional—ready for use.

We’re guessing some tester leaked this one because Microsoft launched an early version of the app to only a limited number of testers this July in China and the United States. It was all good but unavoidably, the code was leaked and is now ready for public consumption.

The leaked Cortana is the same as Windows 10’s so expect to see the same features as with the latest Microsoft OS. And as with most digital voice assistants, you can ask Cortana almost any question and request for it to search for news, the weather, sports results, or set reminders among others.

Microsoft Cortana for Android

The Microsoft Cortana version released seems to be the BETA version but it’s already working good according to those who have already tried it. The version actually is said to be working better than on Windows 10 as per Finland Mobile who tested the app recently.

The software giant hasn’t announced or responded anything related to this leak yet but we can expect the Cortana app for Android to still be released on the original schedule set by the Microsoft.

Feel free to download the .APK and install Cortana on your Android phone but AT YOUR OWN RISK.
